The inflow of remittances increased by 10.2 percent year-on-year to US$2,432 million in the first 29 days of October, according to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank (BB), released on Thursday.
Last year, during the same period, the country received $2,208 million in remittances.
Expatriates sent remittances of $10,018 million from July to October 29, 2025 of the current fiscal year, compared to $8,750 million in the previous fiscal year.
