Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 17.1 per cent, reaching US$13,287 million during the July to December 2 period of the current fiscal year (FY26), according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here on Wednesday.
The amount was $11,344 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year 2024-25.
During the first two days of December, the inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 20.1 per cent reaching US$248 million.
Last year, during the same period, the country’s remittance inflow was $207 million.
