Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 18.3 per cent, reaching US$1290 million in the 10 days of December, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued on Thursday.
Last year, during the same period, the country’s remittance inflow was $1091 million.
During the July to Dec 10, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $14,329 million, which was $12,228 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
