DHAKA,
Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 13.9 per cent reaching US$1,826 million in the sixteen days of December, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued on Wednesday.
Last year, during the same period, the country’s remittance inflow was $1,602 million.
During the July to Dec 16, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $14,864 million, which was $12,740 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
