A high-level delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), led by its President Masato Kanda, met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday morning at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the capital, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s press wing. Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam Rony also confirmed the visit.
Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister ABM Abdus Sattar were present during the meeting.

Officials said discussions focused on recently signed loan agreements worth $1.4 billion, as well as the ADB’s ongoing cooperation with Bangladesh and its future development programmes in the country.
