An essay and drawing competition was organised at Choto Bongram Ideal Girls’ School in Rajshahi on Wednesday to promote renewable energy and raise awareness about its importance.

The event, jointly organised by Paribartan, Clean, and BWGED, attracted enthusiastic participation from the school’s students, who showcased their creativity through essays and artwork. Participants focused on topics highlighting the significance of renewable energy and its role in environmental protection.

The organisers emphasised that the initiative aims to instil awareness about eco-friendly energy practices among students and encourage the next generation to adopt sustainable energy solutions.

At the conclusion of the competition, awards and certificates were presented to the top-performing students, recognising their talent and effort.

Teachers, students, and representatives from the organising institutions attended the programme. Notable attendees included the head teacher of Choto Bongram Ideal Girls’ School Fahima Mallik, science teacher Aminur Rahman, and Paribartan programme associates Roni Roy and Pankaj Karmakar.

Speaking at the event, the organisers expressed their hope to continue such initiatives in the future, aiming to create a broader culture of environmental awareness and sustainable energy practices among young learners.
