The politically charged drama One Battle After Another emerged as the top winner at the 31st Critics Choice Awards, taking home three major prizes, including best picture, at a ceremony held in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, also won best director and best adapted screenplay, consolidating its position as a leading contender ahead of the Academy Awards.
Actors Timothée Chalamet and Jessie Buckley strengthened their Oscar prospects after winning best actor and best actress for their performances in Marty Supreme and Hamnet, respectively.
