The domestic commercial performance of the Hindi film industry has registered a significant surge as Ranveer Singh’s latest production, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, achieved major financial milestones. The Dhurandhar 2 box office figures indicate that the film collected over Rs 575 crore within the Indian market during its initial six days of theatrical release. Industry analysts in Mumbai confirm this trajectory positions the project among the highest-grossing commercial ventures of the current fiscal quarter.

Market tracking agency Sacnilk reported domestic net earnings of Rs 56.55 crore on Tuesday, elevating the cumulative national net collection to Rs 575.67 crore. The gross domestic aggregate currently stands at approximately Rs 687.43 crore. On the international trade front, the film generated Rs 231.57 crore, driving the worldwide gross valuation to nearly Rs 919 crore.

Regional market segmentation reveals the Hindi-language distribution remains the primary revenue driver, contributing Rs 52 crore on Tuesday. The Telugu-dubbed release provided supplementary market support, generating Rs 3.10 crore. The financial timeline demonstrates an opening collection of Rs 102.55 crore on 19 March, followed by Rs 80.72 crore on 20 March and Rs 113 crore on 21 March. The peak domestic performance occurred on 22 March, yielding Rs 114.85 crore across 21,633 scheduled exhibitions, before undergoing a standard market correction to Rs 65 crore on the subsequent Monday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted the international distribution strategy has yielded substantial returns, despite facing regulatory exhibition restrictions within Gulf Cooperation Council nations. The production secured approximately 3,000 overseas screens, representing one of the most expansive international distribution frameworks for a Hindi cinematic export.

Prior to the formal market launch, paid preview exhibitions on 18 March generated Rs 43 crore from 12,735 screenings. Director Aditya Dhar publicly apologised for infrastructural and technical disruptions that temporarily affected specific regional broadcasts, confirming that technical teams implemented immediate corrective measures to stabilise the exhibition network.
