Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is set to marry Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony on 5 July, according to NDTV, citing sources.

Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. Reports also state that Gauri Spratt is the mother of a seven-year-old child.

The actor introduced Spratt to the Indian media during his 60th birthday last year. At the time, he said she works with his production house.

Before making the relationship public, Khan was widely reported to have been dating someone outside the film industry. He kept the relationship private for around 18 months before confirming it publicly.

At the same press interaction, he joked about keeping details hidden from the media, saying in Hindi: “Dekha kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko” (See, I did not let you get wind of this). He also explained that Spratt was based in Bengaluru, which helped them avoid media attention.

Gauri Spratt is originally from Bengaluru and is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned a salon in the city. She studied at Blue Mountain School and later completed a fashion course, FDA Styling & Photography, at the University of the Arts London in 2004, according to her LinkedIn profile. Reports also suggest she currently runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.

Khan married Reena Dutta in 1986 in an intimate ceremony. The couple have two children, Junaid and Ira. They divorced in 2002 after 16 years of marriage.

He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005 after meeting her during the making of Lagaan in 2001, where she worked as an assistant director. The couple divorced in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son Azad, who was born via surrogacy.

In a recent interview with Navbharat Times, Khan said he felt in a happy and settled space with Spratt. He said he felt “lucky” to have met her and described their relationship as peaceful and fulfilling. He added: “Mujhe lagta hai ab main jaake mukammal hua hoon” (I feel complete today).

The couple have made several joint public appearances in the past year, including at the Macau International Comedy Festival in China.
