With her latest film, "Bichchhed Bedona", well-known actress and director Moushumi has resumed directing after an almost ten-year hiatus.

The Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) has granted the film a no-objection certificate, paving the road for its distribution.

Reports say that Moushumi directed the psychological drama during the COVID-19 epidemic. Abdun Noor Shajal and Ferdous Ahmed play the main parts in the movie. Under Priyojon Kothachitra's auspices, senior journalist Abdur Rahman developed the project. The movie's release is still being planned.

Currently, Moushumi lives in the United States. Speaking about the idea, her husband, actor Omar Sunny, stated that the film's development started several years ago. He remembered seeing producer Abdur Rahman's name associated with the project, which motivated him to learn more about it.

“After speaking with Moushumi, I learned that most of the filming had already been completed by then. Later, the remaining work was finished, and the film was submitted to the censor board. It is an exceptional film directed by Moushumi,” he said.

Moushumi’s previous directorial venture, Shunno Hridoy, was released in 2016. With Bichhed Bedona, she marks her return to filmmaking after ten years.
