During this time, the wind may blow from the south and southeast at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. The day temperature may generally drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
According to the forecast information, the temperature in Dhaka at 6 am today was recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius, with 93 percent humidity in the air. Yesterday (Saturday) the highest temperature was 34.3 degrees Celsius, today the lowest was 28.3 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has recorded 2 millimeters of rainfall in Dhaka in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has said that a low pressure area may form again in the northwest and adjacent west-central Bay of Bengal by Monday (August 18). As a result, the rainfall trend may increase in the country in the next five days, the agency also said.
