On August 15, 2025, a person named Md. Azizur Rahman was arrested from Dhanmondi 32 area. Later, he was sent to the learned court on August 16 as a suspected accused in a case registered by Dhanmondi Police Station in April.
Meanwhile, various media outlets, including social media, are spreading unnecessary false information about the arrest and case of Md. Azizur Rahman, which has come to the attention of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
In fact, the case in which the arrested Md. Azizur Rahman has been sent to the learned court as a suspected accused is a regular case of the Penal Code. But many are promoting the matter as a murder case, which is completely false and intentional.
In this situation, the concerned are requested to refrain from spreading any confusion on the mentioned matter.
