CA will travel to Rome tomorrow to attend the WFF event

DHAKA,
Tomorrow, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will depart for Rome, Italy's capital, to attend a World Food Forum (WFF) flagship event.
Chief advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam informed that a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the chief advisor and his entourage will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) here at about 11.30 am.
The tour schedule states that Prof. Yunus will speak at the WFF's main session as an invited speaker.
He will also meet with leaders of international organizations and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
Global concerns, including sustainable development, poverty reduction, and food security, will be the main topics of conversation throughout those sessions.

The WFF is a platform of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations where policymakers, researchers, and entrepreneurs from the globe exchange views on the future of food systems. 

This year’s WFF event is being held at the FAO Headquarters in Rome from 10 to 17 October.

The chief adviser’s visit is being regarded as a significant reflection of Bangladesh’s proactive diplomatic engagement on the international stage.

Prof  Yunus is scheduled to return home on October 15.
