Police arrested 1,726 more crime suspects across the country as part of the ongoing nationwide anti-crime operation in the last 24 hours.
According to the Police Headquarters, 1,185 of them were captured in previous cases and pending warrants and 541 others were arrested on various criminal charges.
During the drives, law enforcers also seised two foreign-made pistols, one single-barrel pipe gun, two locally made guns (LGS), one magazine, four cartridges, and several sharp weapons.
