Train operations are halted after a pedestrian is killed when a metro bearing pad collapses at Farmgate.
Near the Farmgate metro station, the event took place at approximately 12:15 p.m.
Train operations were suspended today (October 26) when a bearing pad, which was designed to reduce vibration during metro rail operations, came loose and fell, killing a pedestrian.
Fazlul Karim, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of the DMP Tejgaon Division, verified the news. The incident took place at around 12:15pm near the Farmgate metro station.
