The secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, received an official visit from Egyptian Ambassador to Bangladesh Omar Fahmy on Tuesday at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan.
The discussion, which began at approximately 11:00 am, covered a wide range of topics, including the present political climate in both Egypt and Bangladesh, regional and global challenges, and bilateral relations between the two nations.
Among those in attendance were BNP Organizing Secretary and member of the Chairperson's Special Associate Advisory Committee on Foreign Policy Shama Obaid, BNP Acting Chairman's Adviser on International Affairs and Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir, and BNP Standing Committee Member and Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Council Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.
