Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)–2 has arrested one individual along with six petrol bombs during a raid in the Basila Garden City area of Mohammadpur in the capital on Sunday.
The operation was conducted around 7:00pm on Sunday following intelligence reports about illegal explosive materials being stored in the area, Company Commander of RAB-2 Major Monjurul Kabir said on Sunday night.
During the drive, the suspect was detained, and six petrol bombs were seized from his possession, he said.
Officials said the arrested individual was allegedly involved in planning subversive activities.
