Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser, announced on Thursday that the City Corporation and Zila Parishad would work together to build a bridge at Company Ghat in Kamrangirchar to boost local transportation.
He made the comment while addressing the audience as the chief guest at the “National Education Seminar and Award Ceremony” to commemorate the sixth anniversary of Markazut Taqwa Madrasa in Kamrangirchar, the capital.
Asif Mahmud mentioned that roads in Kamrangirchar are narrow and that there aren’t enough playgrounds. He claimed that steps will be taken to widen the roads and build a playground in Ward 55 for sports and relaxation.
The event was presided over by Maulana Habibullah Miazi, Director General of Jamia Nuria Islamia Madrasa.
Later, the Adviser paid his respects at the grave of Maulana Muhammad Ullah Hafizji, a well-known Islamic scholar in the subcontinent.
