Information Advisor Mahfuj Alam and Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan have both tendered their resignations.

Resignation letters were filed on Wednesday evening, according to the Chief Adviser’s office, which verified this to the media.

Last year, on 8 August, Asif took an oath as a student representative and adviser following the fall of the Awami League government on 5 August.

After starting off as the Labour Adviser, he moved on to become the Adviser for the Youth and Sports, Local Government, and Cooperatives Ministries.

Along such lines, Mahfuj Alam initially joined the interim administration on November 10, 2024, with the title of Adviser and the position of Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser.

After Nahid Islam resigned to take over as National Citizen Party Coordinator, he was named Adviser to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry on February 26, 2019.
