At 6:00 pm on Thursday, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will make the announcement regarding the 13th national election and referendum schedule.

According to Election Commissioner Abdur Rahmanel Masud, the Election Commission (EC) will release about 20 circulars on a range of topics after the announcement in order to guarantee a free and fair election.

"No government official or employee may be transferred without the Commission's approval, according to the first circular," he continued.

He stated that additional circulars will address a number of topics, including the management of law and order, the appointment of judicial magistrates, and the removal of previously displayed banners and posters.

The announcement will be followed immediately by a gazette notification about the election schedule, according to EC officials.

Notifications designating returning officers and assistant returning officers will come next. The law-and-order coordination cell, vigilance observation teams, judicial inquiry committees, executive magistrate appointments, and guidelines for forbidding the transfer of government employees without EC approval are among the committees that will subsequently be established.

A prompt notice for the removal of banners and posters will also be given, along with guidelines to guarantee that political parties and candidates follow the code of conduct.
