A passenger bus was set on fire again by miscreants in Badda. The fire service received a report of a Mirpur-bound passenger bus of Ashim Paribahan being set on fire at around 8:35 pm on Sunday.
Duty officer of the fire service control room Md Shajahan said, ‘Two units of the fire service reached the spot after receiving the news and are working to control the fire.’
An eyewitness said that the bus was set on fire on the road in front of the North Badda AMZ Hospital.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badda Police Station Nasirul Islam said, ‘It is not clear who or what set the bus on fire. Police are on their way to the spot.’
Earlier, miscreants set fire to a moving bus in the Gudaraghat area of Badda at around 8:45 pm on Friday. Later, two units of the fire service brought the fire under control.
