An air ambulance carrying Inquilab Manch convener and independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, Sharif Osman Hadi, landed in Singapore with him on board. The air ambulance arrived at Singapore’s Seletar Airport at 5:50 pm Bangladesh time on Monday.
The air ambulance from Singapore arrived in Dhaka at 11:22 am earlier on Monday. Later, Osman Hadi was transported to the airport by ambulance from Evercare Hospital around noon. Just before 1:30 pm, the ambulance transporting him arrived at the airport via Gate No. 8. At one point, he was transferred from the ambulance that was transporting him to the air ambulance at approximately 1:30 pm.
Osman Hadi travelled to Singapore with his brother Omar Bin Hadi and his friend Aminul Hasan Faisal. He was a political ally of Hadi.
The air ambulance has arrived at Shahjalal Airport from Singapore following a four-hour flight. Doctors at Aircare Hospital in Dhaka and Singapore General Hospital have come to an agreement regarding Osman Hadi’s extensive journey for improved treatment, taking into account his physical condition.
Osman Hadi was initially transported to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) following a shooting incident in Dhaka’s Paltan area on Friday afternoon (December 12). Subsequently, at the urging of his family, he was transported to Evercare Hospital. Since that time, Osman Hadi has been receiving treatment there in a critical state.
