A mild cold wave has been spreading through Tetulia upazila in Panchagarh district for the past week, with the northern frontier constantly posting the nation's lowest temperatures.
The Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) reported a minimum temperature of 9.7 degrees Celsius at 9:00 am on Wednesday, with an air humidity of 71%.

The minimum temperature was 9.5 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Tuesday. On that day, the air humidity was 74%, while the wind speed ranged from 9 to 10 miles per hour. The day's maximum temperature was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius.

On December 15, at 9:00 am, the minimum temperature was 9 degrees Celsius, with an air humidity of 89 per cent and a wind speed of 9 to 10 miles per hour. The maximum temperature for the day was 27.2 degrees Celsius. The severity of the cold was also visible in the previous days.

Furthermore, 9.0 degrees Celsius was recorded on December 14, followed by 9.3 degrees Celsius on December 13, 9.3 degrees Celsius on December 12, and the season's lowest temperature of 8.9 degrees Celsius on December 11. 

According to the meteorological service, Tetulia has been experiencing a slight cold wave since December 11.
