The US embassy in Dhaka on Friday expressed deep condolences over the death of youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi, joining the people of Bangladesh in mourning the loss.
“The US Embassy joins the people of Bangladesh in mourning the loss of youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi and offers our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and supporters,” the embassy said on Friday morning.
The message reflected solidarity with Bangladesh at a time of national grief following Hadi’s death, which has drawn widespread reactions across political and social circles.
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has declared a one-day state mourning on Saturday following the tragic death of Sharif Osman Hadi.
