The Japanese Election Observation Mission on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka.
The delegation was led by Masato Watanabe, ambassador and leader of the Japanese Election Observation Mission, said the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing in the evening.
Other members of the delegation included Associate Professor at the College of Intercultural Communication of Rikkyo University Naonori Kusakabe; Principal Deputy Director of Southwest Asia Division to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Sonoko Ichimura; Assistant Director of Southwest Asia Division to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoshiaki Kobayashi; Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh SAIDA Shinichi; First Secretary and Head of Political Section at the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh KOMINE Ken; Second Secretary of the embassy’s Political Section NISHI Yuki; and Adviser of the embassy’s Political Section SONE Keita.
Lamiya Morshed, senior secretary and SDG coordinator, and Mohammed Nore Alam, director general of East Asia and Pacific of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were also present at the meeting.
