Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman carried out official work at his political office in Gulshan until the early hours of Sunday.

“From Saturday till 3:00am on Sunday night, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stayed at his political office at Gulshan, Dhaka and carried out important official work of the party,” Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony said.

At that time, Rony said, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee members Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Nazrul Islam Khan, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Dr AZM Zahid Hossain and Begum Selima Rahman were present at the office.

He added that Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman and other officials of the Gulshan office were also present.

BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is taking interviews of candidates who submitted party nomination forms for reserved women's seats in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election.

Interviews of candidates from districts under Dhaka, Chattogram, Cumilla, Sylhet and Mymensingh organisational divisions started at the Gulshan political office from Saturday afternoon.

The process continued till late night.
