Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will visit Jashore on Monday to inaugurate different development projects, lay the foundation stone for a medical college, and join a street rally.
According to Prime Minister’s Press Wing, the PM will leave Dhaka for Jashore by air on Monday morning.
In pursuance of the tour itinerary, after reaching Jashore, Tarique Rahman will inaugurate the Ulashi-Jadunathpur canal excavation project in Sharsha upazila and address a civic reception there.
After returning to Jashore town, the BNP chairman will take a short break at the Circuit House there.
In the afternoon, he will lay the foundation stone of Jashore Medical College Hospital and address a public rally at Jashore Central Eidgah ground.
The day's activities will conclude with the Prime Minister's expected air departure for Dhaka in the evening.
As a Prime Minister, this is his first visit to Jashore.
Earlier, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman joined an election rally at Jashore Upashahar Degree College Ground on 2 February.
