The upcoming Eid al-Azha is expected to be observed in the last week of May across many parts of the world, with preliminary forecasts indicating different dates depending on moon sightings.

In Bangladesh, the festival is usually observed a day after Saudi Arabia. As such, Eid-ul-Azha is expected to fall on 28 May, subject to confirmation by the National Moon Sighting Committee.

According to the official Umm al-Qura calendar of Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Azha is likely to fall on 27 May. The calendar suggests that the month of Zilqad will complete 30 days, paving the way for the start of Zilhaj.

Astronomical projections in Pakistan also point to 27 May as the probable date for the festival.

In United Kingdom and other European countries, Eid may be observed either on 27 May or 28 May, depending on the visibility of the crescent moon.

Similarly, the United Arab Emirates has indicated that the Day of Arafat is expected on 26 May, with Eid-ul-Azha likely the following day, 27 May, based on scientific calculations.

Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on the 10th day of Zilhaj in the Islamic lunar calendar, and the final date in each country depends on the sighting of the crescent moon.
