Security forces across Bangladesh are on high alert to prevent any trouble or illegal gatherings on 23 June, the founding anniversary of the banned Awami League.
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has issued a strong warning to the public, stating it will not allow any attempts to break the law or cause chaos. Commander Naimul Hasan shared these security plans during a recent press conference at the RAB-2 office, which was originally held to discuss a separate arrest involving illegal weapons.
Answering questions from reporters, Hasan made it very clear that anyone trying to cause problems on the anniversary date would face the law. He warned that RAB officers are ready to step in immediately to maintain peace, adding that rule-breakers will face consequences.
To make sure the entire country stays safe, other police forces are joining the effort. RAB-2 Deputy Commander Squadron Leader Nifaz Ahmed confirmed that the national police headquarters has issued its highest security alert.
This means police and security officers in every region have been ordered to stay watchful. The authorities are working closely together to stop any unrest before it can start, ensuring that they protect public safety during this highly monitored time.
