The Bangladesh Army is continuing its work to help thousands of people affected by severe flooding across the Chattogram region.

According to an official update from the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), soldiers are working on the ground to deliver emergency aid. Members of the Army’s 10 Infantry Division have been sent to the hardest-hit areas to lead the rescue work.

Troops are currently helping people in the Chandanaish and Lohagara areas of Chattogram, as well as parts of the Khagrachhari district in the hills.

Soldiers are handing out urgent relief goods, saving people trapped by the water, and assisting local residents. The military is working closely with local government officials to make sure the help reaches the people who need it most.

The military stated that these rescue and relief operations will continue until the floodwaters go down and daily life returns to normal.
