BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has called an emergency meeting of the party’s Standing Committee on Monday night.
BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain confirmed to BSS that the meeting will be held at 8:30pm on Monday at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
He said that there is no specific agenda for the meeting, describing it as an “open discussion,” and emphasised that today's meeting is of particular importance.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will virtually preside over the meeting from London.
