BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi advised party activists and countrymen on Saturday to pray for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at home or in mosques rather than gathering outside Evercare Hospital.
Speaking to journalists after seeing Khaleda Zia in the hospital on Saturday evening, Rizvi stated, “We cannot guarantee that she is safe. However, doctors are making every attempt. We pray to Allah to restore her health." She will return to us."
Rizvi hailed Khaleda Zia as the country’s “security of democracy, sovereignty, and independence”, stating that the entire nation is concerned for her well-being at Evercare Hospital.
He addressed his fans, stating, “The great sadness conveyed by our well-wishers is unquestionably beyond words. However, expressing her grief interferes with her treatment and that of other patients in the hospital.”
“I would request everyone not to crowd inside or outside of the hospital but to pray for her in your own homes or mosques, offering supplications to Allah so that she may soon recover,” according to him.
