Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, Khaleda Zia's personal physician and a member of the BNP Standing Committee, announced on Thursday that the former Prime Minister and Chairperson of the BNP will be transported to London for more advanced medical care.
He stated, "If everything proceeds as planned, we will transport BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to London either after midnight on Thursday or early on Friday morning."
He continued, "It was the recommendation of specialised medical professionals that led to the decision to transport her to London."
Just before three o'clock in the afternoon, Dr Zahid disclosed the information to the journalists who were present at Evercare Hospital.
