Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, has visited Evercare Hospital in Dhaka once again to enquire about the health of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
She arrived at the hospital shortly after 3:00 pm on Saturday.
This was her second visit since she arrived in Dhaka on Friday.
Earlier on Friday, upon returning to Bangladesh from London, she first went to the hospital directly from the airport.
Her flight landed at Shahjalal International Airport at 11:53am, and she proceeded straight to Evercare Hospital, where she stayed by Khaleda Zia’s side for nearly two hours. She left for her mother’s home in Dhanmondi around 2:30pm.
Meanwhile, BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Enamul Haque Chowdhury told the media on Saturday that a Royal Air Ambulance from Qatar will be sent to Dhaka as soon as the medical board gives clearance for Khaleda Zia’s transfer abroad for advanced treatment.
