Partho anticipated Tarique Rahman’s return fifteen years ago

Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman and former legislator Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho stated on Friday that approximately 15 years ago, he expressed in parliament that BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman would return to the country and that the people of Bangladesh would determine his political destiny.

In a recent social media post on Facebook, Partho stated that BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has now returned to Bangladesh after 17 years.

Recalling his statement in parliament, he stated that it was not easy to make such a remark in the presence of the then prime minister, emphasising that it was neither a calculation nor a prediction but a sincere expression of his unwavering conviction.

He further stated that the political future of a prominent leader such as Tarique Rahman cannot be decided by a judicial decision alone, but rather by the will of Allah and the people at the appropriate time.

Partho extended congratulations to Tarique Rahman, BNP leaders and activists, and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of his return to national politics after seventeen years in exile.
