DU Shibir gets new committee

The new executive committee of the Dhaka University unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir was formed on Monday.

Md Mohiuddin Khan was elected as president, while Ashiqur Rahman was made general secretary and Md Sajjad Hossain Khan organising secretary at the new committee for the 2026 session.

The members’ assembly was held at the Shaheed Mahbubur Rahman Auditorium at 8 am, with central HRM Secretary Saidul Islam conducting the session.

Central Shibir President Nurul Islam attended the programme as the chief guest, while Central Shibir Publication Secretary Abu Shadik Kayem was present as the special guest.

Nurul Islam declared Mohiuddin Khan as president and administered the oath to him.
