Former MP and BNP’s Central Executive Committee Member Nazim Uddin Alam has been appointed as a member of the party Chairman’s Advisory Council.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the appointment in a media release on Friday.
According to press release, Nazim Uddin Alam has been made a member of the Chairman’s Advisory Council as per the party constitution.
The party expects Nazim Uddin to play an effective role in strengthening BNP through thoughtful advice and organisational activities, the press release added.
It is to be noted that Nazim Uddin Alam was elected to parliament three times from Bhola-4 constituency.
For the upcoming 13th parliamentary election, BNP has nominated Nurul Islam Noyon, general secretary of the Jubo Dal, as its candidate in the same constituency.
