Mirza Abbas conducts election campaign in Malibagh

BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas on Tuesday campaigned in support of the party’s ‘sheaf of paddy’ (Dhaner Shish) symbol in his Dhaka-8 constituency in Malibagh-Gulbagh area of the capital.

In the first half of his campaign, the senior BNP leader conducted public outreach from Malibagh 1st Lane, Shahjahanpur, via Mouchak intersection and Malibagh intersection to Rajarbagh Police Gate.

In the afternoon, he led a massive electoral procession organised by Ward No-11 BNP and its affiliated organisations.

In the evening, he will conduct public outreach in the Shahjahanpur Jhil Mosque area, and at night in Fakirerpul and Arambagh water tank lane.

Talking to journalists, Mirza Abbas said, "I have become MP many times. No one can say they came to me and returned empty-handed. But I have never promised what I cannot deliver. I don't give false assurances. I am not an angel. However, I don't lie to harm anyone."
