BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury in Chattogram on Tuesday said that freedom-loving people of Bangladesh would firmly reject any politics built on reliance on foreign powers.
He said Bangladeshis are a freedom-loving people who take pride in their independence.
While carrying out his campaign at Uttar Nalapar, Dakkhin Nalapara, Malum Masjid Lane, Darogahat under Purba Madarbari Ward Number 30 which fall under Chattogram-11 constituency, he urged the people to cast their vote in favour of BNP’s election symbol ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ for building future Bangladesh.
People from all walks of life, including a good number of young and elderly people and female voters, joined the electioneering campaign of Amir Khasru, as he began his public outreach from in front of Purba Madarbari Girls School in the morning.
He exchanged pleasantries with roadside people and inhabitants of the areas and informed them about massive plans drawn by BNP to build a prosperous and peaceful Bangladesh.
Amir Khasru said, "If anyone wants to do politics by placing their trust in foreigners, do you think they will have a place in this country? The people will reject them decisively. Look at the fate of those who previously depended on foreigners for politics."
He reiterated BNP's commitments, saying that if the party comes to power, it will establish good governance, curb corruption, address unemployment and ensure people's fundamental rights.
"Our goal is clear. We want to be servants of the people, not their masters," Amir Khasru said, calling on voters to support the BNP by voting for the sheaf of paddy symbol to help build a developed, prosperous and democratic Bangladesh.
Besides, Israfil Khasru, member of BNP’s Foreign Affairs Sub-Committee, conducted the election campaign in favour of Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury at Badartila area on Tuesday morning.
He sought support and votes from the electorate in favour of ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ for ensuring welfare of the people.
