BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Thursday cast his vote along with his wife and daughter at the Gulshan Model High School and College polling centre in the Dhaka-17 constituency.
Tarique Rahman, accompanied by his wife, Dr Zubaida Rahman, and daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman, entered the centre at 9:40 am and followed the prescribed voting procedure.
After casting his vote, he remained at the centre briefly and enquired about the overall environment around the polling station.
Tarique Rahman’s youngest brother, Arafat Rahman Koko’s wife, Syeda Shamila Rahman Sinthi, and their two daughters, Zafia Rahman and Jashia, are expected to cast their votes at the same centre.
