As the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) stands on the verge of an official victory in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah and instructed party leaders and workers to hold special prayers nationwide.
The prayers are scheduled to take place across the country on Friday following Jumma prayers, BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan told BSS.
The BNP chairman has also requested that no victory processions, rallies, or public gatherings be organised in celebration of the party’s win, Shayrul Kabir added.
