The NCP lawmakers also took their oath as members of the Constitutional Reform Council.
Earlier on Tuesday, the newly elected MPs of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami had taken their oaths at the same venue.
According to official results, the BNP won 209 seats on its own in the Jatiya Sangsad polls held on 12 February. In addition, its political allies — Gano Odhikar Parishad, Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) and Gano Sanghati Andolon — each secured one seat.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami claimed 68 seats, emerging as the main opposition party, while its alliance partners—National Citizen Party (NCP), Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis and Khelafat Majlish—won six, two and one seat, respectively.
Islami Andolon Bangladesh secured one seat, and independent candidates won seven constituencies.
