Three sixth-round matches of the Bangladesh Football League will be held at three separate venues across the country on Friday.
On the day, Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society take on Fortis Football Club Limited at Birshrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj, while Arambagh Krira Sangha face Brothers Union Club at Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium in Manikganj.
Both the matches kick off at 2.30 pm.
In the third match of the day, Bashundhara Kings meet holders Mohammedan Sports Club at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital at 5.30 pm.
After the fifth round of matches, Old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society secured ten points from five matches, while Fortis Football Club bagged eight points playing the same number of matches.
While the all-orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club collected seven points from five matches, Arambagh Krira Sangha remained at the bottom of the league table with one point, playing the same number of matches.
Bashundhara Kings stand top of the table with 13 points, having played five matches, while the traditional black and white Motijheel outfit stand in fourth position in the league table with seven points, having played the same number of outings.
In the remaining sixth-round matches to be held on the following day (Saturday), Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club will play against Abahani Limited Dhaka at Shaheed Miraj-Tapan Stadium in Manikganj, while PWD Sports Club will face Bangladesh Police Football Club at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.
