The men’s team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Syria by 54-23 points.
Bangladesh maintained control throughout the match, underlining their strong position in the tournament.
Bangladesh played with aggressive intent from the outset, virtually deciding the result in the first half as they raced to a 29-8 lead. Their raiders repeatedly broke through Syria’s defensive line to collect points, while the defenders remained disciplined and effective in shutting down opposition attacks.
Earlier in the day, the Bangladesh women’s team also registered a convincing win, overcoming Thailand 51-34. The Tigresses outplayed the strong Thai side with confidence and consistency, a result that is expected to boost their morale ahead of upcoming fixtures.
