The RSF identified a number of significant causes for the increase in traffic accidents.
Defective cars, careless driving, a desperate mindset, incapacity, and illness of drivers, unpaid wages and working hours, the prevalence of low-speed traffic on highways, youth reckless motorcycling, the propensity to break traffic laws, ineffective traffic management, the BRTA’s inefficiency, and extortion in the industry are some of the causes.
In order to guarantee road safety, the RSF encouraged the relevant authorities to take the required action.
