After a 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred off the main southern island of Mindanao on Friday, the Philippine Seismology Office issued a tsunami warning.
Residents along the nation's Pacific coast are "strongly advised to immediately evacuate to higher grounds or move farther inland" due to the forecast of one-meter waves during the next two hours.
