Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has stated that its military operations will continue without interruption until what it described as hostile forces are defeated, amid reports of missile strikes targeting positions linked to Israel and the United States across the Middle East.

In a statement cited by regional media on Saturday, the IRGC reportedly said that US assets in the region are now considered legitimate targets and warned of further action.

Authorities in several regional countries reported heightened security concerns following the developments.

Bahrain said a missile targeted the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, while a missile was intercepted over Qatar.

An explosion was also reported in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In response to the situation, multiple countries temporarily closed or restricted their airspace.

Meanwhile, explosions were heard in Tehran and other parts of Iran, according to reports.

There was no immediate official confirmation from Iranian authorities regarding the blasts, although state media reported that President Masoud Pezeshkian remained safe.

Tensions have escalated as military exchanges and regional spillover effects raise concerns about broader conflict expansion.
