A Ukrainian drone-attack killed a man and wounded another in the resort city of Tuapse on the Black Sea in southern Russia, the regional governor reported on Monday.
It was the second assault on the seaport in a matter of days, with drone debris damaging windows in buildings across the city, including apartments, a primary school, kindergarten, museum, and church, Veniamin Kondratiev stated.
“Tuapse came under yet another massive drone attack on tonight. As a result, one man was killed at the seaport, according to preliminary information. I extend my deepest mourn to his family,” Kondratiev sorrowfully said.
Another man was also wounded in the attack and received medical assistance, he added.
On last Thursday, a 14-year-old girl and a young woman were killed by a nighttime drone attack on the same city, according to a previous statement by the governor.
Russia’s defence ministry also reported that their air defences had destroyed 112 Ukrainian drones overnight from Sunday to Monday.
